Site Conduct

  • Nature Preservation: This venue is a haven for wildlife. To maintain this peaceful environment, dogs, fires, and large gatherings are prohibited. Respect the tranquility of the estate by keeping noise and light to a minimum. ‘Parties’ and get-togethers on the waterfront are not allowed, having a beer can be done for fun but alcohol abuse is prohibited, as well as drugs.

  • Vehicle Use: Cars are permitted only for essential use, such as loading/unloading or shopping (max once every 3 days). No driving is allowed between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. The road itself must remain clear at all times.

  • Shelters and BBQs: Modest shelters in khaki, green, or camo colors are allowed only in designated areas. BBQs are permitted on stands with a water bucket nearby, and the fire must be extinguished immediately after use.

  • Dishes can be washed at the water's edge, but only with ecologically degradable washing-up liquid. Each fishing spot will have a hidden drain where you are obliged to empty the dirty washing-up water. It is strictly forbidden to dump dirty water in the pond or behind the dike.

  • Use the compost toilet as it should be (use the urine separator) and leave it tidy. In case of odour problems, contact Pieter.

  • Waste Management: All rubbish must be taken home unless you use the on-site waste service (fees apply: €20 for unsorted bags, with options for sorted waste). For people who really don't want this, we offer a waste service for a fee (see pricing page), you can leave your waste behind during check-out.

Security Deposit

  • A €70 cash deposit is required upon arrival. This will be refunded at check-out, provided the rules have been followed, the site is clean, and catch registration has been logged via the 'Off the Mark' app.

  • Any staff member may inspect licenses, food, and equipment at any time, as well as vehicles. Violations of the rules may result in immediate expulsion without refund.

Various

  • Insure yourself with your insurer for unexpected events: take out cancellation insurance.

  • The owner/anyone from the estate staff can not be held responsible for any accidents or theft.

  • Do not leave your rubbish and feed unattended, the boars are all too happy to come and get it. (put it at height, unreachable)
